Shanks enforces our parking regulations which can be reviewed here. Additionally the Board has passed an amendment to the parking policy here.
A copy of our parking regulations has been shared with Shanks. The Board of Directors receives notification for each vehicle towed and the reason for the tow. The Board of Directors closely monitor's the towing contractor to ensure compliance with our parking regulations.
All fees charged by the towing contractor are applied in accordance with Virginia State Code. If a vehicle has been towed, the registered owner, agent, representative, lessee, or custodian of the vehicle must be present for the vehicle to be released at the towing lot. Please note that the Homeowners Association does not receive compensation or proceeds from towing that takes place on the property which is strictly prohibited by Virginia State Code.
Homeowner and Tenant
Each homeowner or tenant is provided two parking spaces in front of the home. Due to our limited amount of parking available in the neighborhood, if homeowner's or tenants have more than two vehicles, the homeowner will be required to park their vehicle in one of our two overflow lots. Our overflow lots offer 51 spaces of additional homeowner and visitor parking. Parking in our overflow lots is first come, first served. Please note that homeowners and tenants are strictly prohibited from parking their vehicles in any spot designated VISITOR and are subject to being towed at the owner's expense. Our towing contractor maintains logs of each vehicle towed and the responsible party retrieving the vehicle. They use this information to assist in confirming if the vehicle is a legitimate visitor or if it is a homeowner/tenant in a visitor's space.
Homeowner and tenant vehicles are required to display a resident parking decal. Residential parking decals should be placed on the front windshield in the top left or top right. Vehicles with passes that are not fully visible are subject to towing at the owners expense. If you are in need of a resident parking decal, need to update your information, changing vehicles, or have other questions, please contact our Community Manager at Landmarc.
